چکیده

This work reports a rapid, simple and low-cost voltammetric sensor based on dummy molecularly imprinted polymer (MIP) that uses 2,4-dinitrophenol (DNP) as template for the quantification of 2,4,6-trinitrotoluene (TNT) DNP, identification related substances. Once was synthesised by thermal precipitation polymerisation, it integrated onto graphite epoxy composite (GEC) electrode via sol–gel immobilisation. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) performed in order to characterise surface. Responses towards DNP TNT were evaluated, displaying linear response range 1.5 8.0 µmol L−1 1.3 6.5 TNT; estimated limits detection 0.59 0.29 L−1, TNT, respectively. Chemometric tools, particular principal component analysis (PCA), demonstrated possibilities MIP-modified electrodes nitroaromatic potential interfering species discrimination with multiple applications environmental field.

Design of molecularly imprinted polymers for diphenylamine sensing.

A series of the polymers imprinted with diphenylamine (DPA) and respective non imprinted polymers were synthesized using precipitation polymerization. Synthesized polymers were characterized by Fourier Transform Infra-Red spectroscopy with Total Attenuated Reflectance (FTIR-ATR), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) and equilibrium batch re-binding experiments. Influence of the synthesis conditio...

Synthesis and Evaluating of Nanoporous Molecularly Imprinted Polymers for Extraction of Quercetin as a Bioactive Component of Medicinal Plants

In this work, the template, monomer, and cross-linker with the ratio of 1:8:40 were used to synthesize Molecularly Imprinted Polymers (MIPs) for extraction of the bioactive chemical compounds from some traditional herbs as a sorbent material. Quercetin, Methacrylic Acid (MAA), Trimethylolpropanetrimethacrylate (TRIM) and Tetrahydrofuran (THF) were used as a template, funct...
